What are your responsibilities at Griffin?
I work as a project manager in the Organics Circularity business unit based in Helsinki. My responsibilities include delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients’ expectations and constraints, and promoting Griffin’s technological know-how to foster our growing client base. Additionally, I reinforce Griffin’s position as a leading waste management technology provider.
Why did you want to join Griffin?
I believe that Griffin’s approach to waste management could be decisive in promoting sustainability, and I’m thrilled to have the chance to play an active role in this process. As an environmental engineer, working to reduce the impact of waste on the environment mirrors my professional and personal values.
How do you see your role at Griffin?
I see my role at Griffin as twofold: acting as project manager will give me a broader vision of the business and the chance to further develop my skills as an engineering manager. On the other hand, I am confident that my previous experience as a project engineer in large industrial projects will be a valuable addition to Griffin’s team.
What did you do before you joined Griffin?
I have 15 years of experience in large engineering projects in oil and gas, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in public utilities. Based in Europe and Africa, I worked as a team leader in multidisciplinary projects in every phase of their lifecycle, from feasibility studies through construction to handover.
When you are not working for a more sustainable world, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy taking singing classes.
