
Stuart Campbell appointed CEO of Griffin
“On behalf of all our Board of Directors, I am delighted to welcome Stuart Campbell as the CEO of the Griffin Refineries Group. Campbell is the right person to lead Griffin into the future, given his strong command on Griffins’ business and proven ability to drive results.” said Matti Jaakola, Chairman of the Board of Directors, when announcing the appointment.

Campbell has served as Chief Operating Officer of Griffin Refineries Group, focusing on the organisational processes, strategy and business development. Prior to joining Griffin, Campbell was Vice President of Korkia Venture Insight, and previously, Campbell has been in director roles both with Savills energy division and Ernst & Young environmental energy finance group.
Campbell succeeds Christian Abl. “We would like to thank Christian Abl for his outstanding commitment and valuable contribution to the business, especially his important work in the United Arabic Emirates (UAE)” said Jaakola.
Griffin Refineries is the total solution provider for innovative solutions on waste management. Griffin manages both waste management projects and waste-material flows as a developer, investor, operator and trader. Griffin’s main markets are Europe and Middle East. Griffin with its project partners Besix and TechGroup is constructing the first state-of the-art waste management facility to produce refuse-derived-fuel in the UAE, alongside the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE). The plant is due open in September 2020.
